Fertility & Pregnancy Testing

This test is used for males to detect the onset of puberty, while in woman it is used to detect issues with the ovarian reserve (the number of eggs)

This blood test measures Dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEA-S). DHEA-S is a male sex hormone produced primary by the adrenal glands.

This blood test measures Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) .  FSH is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland and stimulates the production of eggs in women and sperm in men.

This blood test measures levels of T3 or Triiodothyronine.  T3 is one of the primary hormones produced by the Thyroid gland which helps to control a number of metabolic functions.

This test is used to measure the amount of unbound or free Thyroxine (T4) in a person's system.  The T4 hormone is produced by the thyroid gland and helps maintain the body's metabolism, temperature, and heart rate. 

Progesterone is a steroid hormone whose primary purpose is to help prepare a woman's body for pregnancy.  In men, low levels of progesterone are involved in the development of sperm.  Progesterone lab testing is typically used to help evaluate the cause of infertility.  

This blood test measures the level of prolactin which is a hormone produced by the pituitary gland whose primary role is in the production of breast milk.

This blood test measures free or unbound testosterone which is the primary male sex hormone. However, it is present in both men and women.

• T3 uptake (Triiodothyronine)
• T4 (Total Thyroxine)
• Free Thyroxine Index T4

The Thyroid Panel with TSH is a group of blood tests that helps evaluate thyroid gland function and can help diagnose thyroid disorders

This test should be used only to determine pregnancy.
