Gastrointestinal Health Tests

This blood test screens for antibodies that typically develop in patients with Celiac Disease.

This screening package includes:

• Deamidated Gliadin Antibody IgA
• Tissue Transglutaminase IgA
• Serum IgA Quantification

The H Pylori Abs IgG blood test may be used to help determine the cause of ulcers in the stomach or duodenum (first section of the small intestine) or to assess the cause of chronic gastritis. The H Pylori IgG test screens for antibodies that may remain present in the bloodstream even after an infection has been successfully treated.

This test measures levels of IgA antibodies in a person's blood.  These antibodies are produced by the immune system in response to various bacteria, viruses, and diseases in the body

This Lactose test can assist in the diagnosis of a common digestive disorder.  Lactose is a type of sugar found in dairy products.  Normally, an enzyme called Lactase, which is produced in the intestines, helps the body break down lactose during digestion so it can be absorbed.
